Community Engagement Placements

Graduates of the Community Engagement Training will have the opportunity to pursue further leadership opportunities via Community Engagement Placements. In partnership with other local organizations working on issues migrant women encounter, BTCC clients can participate in local actions, mentor programs and volunteer opportunities to further their interests, help migrant women explore and open new career paths. Some of our partner organizations are:

• CASA de Maryland
• Community of Hope
• The Insitute for Policy Studies
• Atlas Corps
• International Organization of Migration

Each placement is 3-6 months long and each participant placement is monitored by a Task Advocate Intern- facilitaing the participant's involvement with the partner origanization in order to assure productivity and a positive experince for all parties.
